I’m having a hard time with this one. “Add-Computer -DomainName contoso.com” and “Restart-Computer -Force” will do the same thing and take less administrative effort, but we’re also assuming that the nano server has network access to the DC. If you’re using djoin.exe that’s for adding a computer to the domain if it doesn’t have network access, and you have to copy the blob file to the computer you want to join to the domain. Plus, you have to restart the computer anyway.

    And then after some additional research (finding absolutely nothing to support my theory and everything says use djoin) and finding Microsoft documentation I found this:

    So the given answer is correct.
