  1. remember the question is asking about jabber not being able to log in:
check the UC Service Profile and Enable IMP

if it was asking for ‘registration’ of the CSF (jabber softphone): this would be the Primary extension. i tested this in my lab; i could log in to jabber but it did not register with CUCM (aka softphone registration) without Primary extension.

  2. From Implementing Cisco Collaboration Applications (CAPPS) Foundation Learning Guide

On CUCM, verify that the user is enabled for presence and that the correct service
    profile is selected.

    So A & D

  3. Sorry Guys it’s A and D. Got this info from the book

On CUCM, verify that the user is enabled for presence and that the correct service
    profile is selected.

  4. If it needs to be check under the End User on CUCM. I believe to check A, you have to go to User Settings then service Profile.

    I meant B and E

  5. If it needs to be check under the End User on CUCM. I believe to check A, you have to go to User Settings then service Profile.

So could this be B and C?

  6. A. Ensure that a UC Service Profile includes a valid IM & Presence profile.
    D. The user is enabled for Cisco Unified CM IM & Presence
