  1. Assuming you used pen and paper, but use the very excellent calc (http://subnettingpractice.com/calc.html) to confirm.

    The network address is 172.16.2.64, so not D. The next available network address is 172.16.2.128, so not F.

    The broadcast address is 172.16.2.127, so not E.

    The valid host range is 172.16.2.65 to 172.16.2.126, so not A or C.

    B is the only address that falls in the host range.
