Which command can you enter to configure an IPv6 floating static route?
A. router(config)#ipv6 route FE80:0202::/32 serial 0/1 1
B. router (config)#ipv6 route ::/0 serial 0/1
C. router(config)#ipv6 route static resolve default
D. router(config)#ipv6 route FE80.0202::/32serial 0/1 201
B doesn’t have the value for AD at the end of the string so it’s not a floating route but the others choice are incorrect too cos FE80 is a link local address and can’t be routed
D has the correct command structure, but uses the wrong ipv6 address: FE80 means link-local address, but according to this article below, link-local addresses are not routable :
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/ip/ip-version-6-ipv6/113328-ipv6-lla.html
“Routers will not forward datagram using link-local addresses. IPv6 routers must not forward packets that have link-local source or destination addresses to other links.”
B is correct.
according to Cisco website any of the 3 static routes can be used as a floating static route.
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/iproute_pi/configuration/xe-3s/iri-xe-3s-book/ip6-route-static-xe.html
B is not floating static route
B is correct
D is not correct, casuse link local FE80 has suffux 10
B is for ultimate route?
201 is for AD?
