  1. AC
eFuse disable device if it’s tempered with. eFuse does not encrypt, but after encryption, they key is stored in eFuse, so you can roughly say, eFuse is a component of the encryption. GPS detect device as not in facility and MDM can disable it.

  2. None of the answers satisfies requirement #1

    Geofencing (GPS) satisfies requirement #2

    eFuse satisfies requirement #3

  3. Requirements:

    ▪ Data must be encrypted at rest.
    ▪ The device must be disabled if it leaves the facility.
    ▪ The device must be disabled when tampered with.

    A. eFuse (requirement 3)
    C. GPS (requirement 2)

Correct me if I am wrong, but should the device itself have the capability to encrypt data at rest. Now mobile device could be handheld or maybe like a laptop. But if its a laptop, then you could enable like bitlocker (windows) or FileValt (Mac). I would personally for with A and C but please feel free to jump in an explain why not.

    1. MicroSD is just storage and does not encrypt. MicroSD HSM which is what is mentioned in books but only in transfer.

      So GPS and efuse.
