Refer to the exhibit. Which statement about the R1 configuration is true?
A. It permits host 10.1.1.2 to establish a Telnet connection to R1.
B. It limits remote hosts to two SSH connection attempts.
C. SSH connections to R1 will log out after a 5-minute idle interval.
D. Hosts that reside on network 10.0.0.0/8 can SSH to R1.
E. The R1 timeout for outgoing SSH connection attempts is 30 seconds.
Correct answer is B
I had to lab this up as ‘ip ssh time-out’ is not given a detailed description. It refers to The amount of time someone has for INCOMING SSH connections, not outgoing.
I’m not sure that E is correct. Not able to find it in the documentation and usually this is restricted on the incoming side.
the “ip ssh timeout ” (timeout is without -) command is related to the ssh server settings, not the ssh client.
B looks ok, except it uses the words connection attempts, and not credential attempts.
Perhaps E is still the least wrong 😉
