  1. This answer doesn’t make sense. If there is no patch for the vulnerability, then upgrading the firmware would not have any effect, whereas modifying the fw rules to not allow unauthenticated traffic to pass would solve the issue, regardless of firmware status. And since it’s unauthenticated, changing default pws or generating new keys wouldn’t do anything either.
    Can anyone explain?
