  1. I agree (Answer B).
MRG are load-balanced across all resources within the same MRG.
If 4 conferences start in the above configuration, only HW resources would be used.

  2. I agree with most of what Maru says….I believe the (2 conf) is relating to the number of conference SESSIONS that the dsp can support. Therefore as Maru stated, on startup the first conf session would be hosted on HW_CFB_1 and the second conf session would be hosted on HW_CFB_2 as the resources are round robin’d within the MRG. The 3rd conf session would then go back to HW_CFB_1 as there is still conference session capacity on this dsp. Likewise, the 4th conf session would go to HW_CFB_2. Assuming all conf sessions remained active the 5th conf session would use SW_CFB_1 and the 6th conf session would use SW_CFB_2

  3. Within a Media Resource Group the CUCM load balances across the listed media resources.

So the answer is B for the second conference regardless of how many conferences are supported by each of the two bridges.

  4. Answer C

What leads me to believe the correct answer is HW_CFB_1 is that is has (2 conf.) next to it. Meaning it has the ability to handle two conference calls.

    Any thoughts…?

  5. Correct Answer: B
    Explanation
Explanation/Reference: Apparently this is a tough subject for these test companies, this is not rocket science and there is no great trick here, it is extremely straight forward
Resources are accessed in the order they are listed in the MRGL and in the order listed within the MRG within that MRGL
    In the above example,
Conference 1 -> uses the first conference resource, which has enough resources to do 1 conference Conference 2 -> uses the next available resource, which in HW-CFB_2, which has enough resources for 1 conference Note that the next 2 conference requests will both go to SW_CFB_1 because it has enough resources for 2 conferences.
and so on, why these test dump sites can’t get this simple concept transferred correctly to these practice tests is beyond me. At first I thought I was missing something, some special trick, but no, their just being lazy or stupid or both.
